DYSTODRIP originated from an assignment of designing a product for the future, something that is going to be useful in 8-10 years. This assignment intends to challenge students to think forward and preview how the world will look like in some years.
As a group, we predicted that in the near future global warming effects will melt the “permafrost”, ancient layers of ice underneath the poles that have not melt for thousands of years. There are theories that explain that in this layers of permafrost remain frozen ancient viruses from prehistoric ages that our immune systems are not prepared for.
We imagined that if something like that would happen, the whole world would have to wear an individual viral protection equipment, and we came up with DYSTODRIP, a brand that will allow people to dress stylish even in this dystopian future.
