CLAUDIO. is defined as a talking device developed in close cooperation with an user with a verbal communication disability, in this case, Claudio Rodríguez.
Through the combination of pictograms, text and audio, this talker is intended to promote the communication of needs and to train the user’s memory, meeting the user’s individual needs and wishes.
The ability to communicate and be understood is essential in our society. For people with physical and mental disabilities who use forms of non-verbal communication, this can be a limitation. Here, augmentative and alternative communication can be of great value for personal autonomy.
